CVC won seven awards at the Private Equity International Awards, held a few weeks ago. EMEA Lender of the Year, Long-Term Private Equity Company of the Year, EMEA Fundraiser of the Year, Central and Eastern European Company of the Year, Benelux Company of the Year and European Large Cap Company of the Year. As well as European Secondary Deal of the Year for CVC Secondaries (Glendower Capital).
Award winners were selected on the basis of a survey of a wide audience of investors and managers, fund administrators, custodians, accountants and auditors, law firms, consultants and fund distributors.
The Private Equity Investor ("PEI") awards recognize the managers, institutional investors and advisory firms considered by their peers to be the standard-bearers of private equity over the past year.
CVC Capital Partners owns stakes in around 125 companies, with assets worth around 186 billion euros*. CVC is also known for its involvement in the world of sport, notably the ownership of the audiovisual rights to Formula 1 and soccer's Ligue 1. CVC recently completed its initial public offering.
