GRESB
The organization's mission is to assess and compare the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of real assets worldwide, and to provide financial markets with standardized, validated data.
Assessments are guided by what investors and the industry consider to be substantial sustainability performance issues in real estate investments. These assessments are aligned with international reporting frameworks such as GRI and PRI.
Once the assessment is complete, fund managers benefit from comparative business intelligence to see where they stand in relation to their peers, a roadmap with actions they can take to improve their ESG performance, and a communication platform to engage in dialogue with investors.
Investors, for their part, use GRESB data and analytical tools to improve the environmental performance of their investment portfolios, engage in discussions with fund managers and respond to growing ESG regulatory constraints.
GRESB works with over 150 investors and more than 1,500 asset managers in Europe (40%), America (30%) and Asia (30%).
