Reliance Health
Since 2016, Reliance Health has been working to bring high-quality healthcare to people in remote areas using technology platforms and a fleet of modern clinics, in partnership with other industry players.
The company uses new technologies to offer more affordable and accessible healthcare to major companies in emerging markets, including Biersdorf Nivea, Jumia, PWC, Merrybet and Regus. The company offers an integrated approach including fixed-fee healthcare plans, telemedicine, prescription drug delivery, as well as a combination of partner and proprietary healthcare facilities on a single platform with a single tariff.
Based in Lagos, Nigeria, and Austin, Texas, Reliance Health began operations in Nigeria in 2015 as a telemedicine-focused start-up, then called Kangpe and founded by Femi Kuti, Opeyemi Olumekun and Matthew Mayaki. It then expanded to become a single-fee healthcare provider to better meet the complex and evolving needs of patients.
