Wisetack

Founded in 2018 in San Francisco, Wisetack is a company that works with software publishers to integrate financing options within their customer-facing applications through simple APIs. Wisetack's uniqueness lies in its specialization as the first integrated financing platform for home services such as plumbing and electricity. The company is also extending its offering to dental care and car repairs.

Wisetack's approach is based on the "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) principle, which has become increasingly popular in recent years. This solution enables companies to offer their clients the option of purchasing services now, and deferring payment until a later date.

Bobby Tzekin, Wisetack's CEO, has extensive experience in the fintech sector, having worked at fast-growing companies such as Lending Club and PayPal. Drawing on this experience, he identified an untapped space in the BNPL market, traditionally focused on e-commerce. He saw the opportunity to introduce flexible, fee-based lending solutions for merchants offering physical services in a variety of industries, helping to penetrate a multi-billion dollar sector heavily dependent on cash and credit card payments.
