Dog food manufacturer Butternut Box has appointed CTP, a European developer and manager of industrial properties, to build a specialized facility to produce fresh, healthy dog food for distribution across continental Europe.
The new facility is being developed at CTPark Zabrze, Poland, to produce fresh, healthy meals for dogs. Located in Katowice's Special Economic Zone, the facility will cover an area of almost 40,000 square meters and employ several hundred people. Butternut Box expects to deliver the first meals produced at CTPark Zabrze by mid-2025.
"Our meals are currently prepared in Rudie's kitchen in Doncaster, UK, one of the most modern dog food manufacturing facilities in Europe," said David Nolan, founder and CEO of Butternut Box. "We're growing fast, and another factory is needed to meet the challenge of increasing demand."
"Poland is a key market for us, and I'm delighted that it's becoming a regional hub for the Butternut Box business," continued Nolan. "Production at CTPark Zabrze will enable us to deliver fresh food even faster to hundreds of thousands of dogs in Germany, as well as in other continental European countries."
Founded in 2016, Butternut Box is present in the UK and Poland (under the name PsiBufet), as well as in Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and, more recently, Germany.
