Apax MidMarket X, in which Altaroc Odyssey 2021 is invested, announced on July 12, 2022 that it had reached a definitive agreement to acquire a stake in Vitaprotech, a specialist in security equipment and software for sensitive sites.
Founded in 1987, Vitaprotech is a leader in securing physical access to major sites in three areas: perimeter intrusion detection, access control and security, and cloud video surveillance solutions. The company has a strong position in France, the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. The company employs around 400 people, and generates around a quarter of its sales outside France.
Thanks to the expertise of Apaxteams, Vitaprotech intends to pursue its external growth strategy with two objectives in mind: to continue expanding its portfolio of solutions to provide an integrated offering, and to increase its international activity.
