French company Opteven strengthens its presence in Europe with the acquisition of Garanzia MEC. Based in southern Italy, Garanzia offers automotive services including warranty products, as well as a structure specialized in the reconditioning of spare parts. The company currently employs 53 people, including 32 sales representatives throughout Italy.
With this acquisition, Opteven has taken another step forward. The company now offers a wider geographical range of people access to its two main specialties: assistance (and its satellite services) and mechanical breakdown cover (covering repairs to a vehicle that has broken down).
In an interview with Altaroc last February, Opteven CEO Jean-Matthieu Biseau confessed his satisfaction with the direction Opteven has taken. The specialization of the company's activity to a well-defined sector allows for greater responsiveness, in a sector where urgency is often the watchword. This specialization also enables the company's more than 1,000 employees to offer customers the best possible service.
