The acquisition gives Vitaprotech greater access to the North American market, strengthening its position as a major global player in the electronic security sector. With an established presence in the United States, Canada, Germany and India, Identiv's security activities represent a high-security platform approved by governmental institutions and corporations across the globe, employing over 200 highly qualified professionals.
Identiv, through its brands such as Hirsch, Velocity, TouchSecure and ScramblePad, offers a comprehensive range of physical, video and audio access control solutions, as well as on-premise and cloud-based access control and VMS software. Its solutions comply with the most stringent cybersecurity standards, with accreditations such as FedRAMP Marketplace authorization for its cloud-based solutions and FICAM compliance for its access control readers.
This business merger between Vitaprotech and Identiv creates a global leader in cyber-secure security solutions, benefiting from each entity's innovative capabilities and worldwide network of partners. With combined sales of over $185 million and a global workforce in excess of 700 employees, the new group resulting from this acquisition is well positioned to meet the most demanding security needs worldwide.
