Bazooka Candy Brands
In the United States, Bazooka ranks among the top ten manufacturers of non-chocolate confectionery (NCC), with a dominant position in head-of-shelf sales, a highly coveted segment for retailers due to its high margins. Over the years, Bazooka's sales growth in the United States has far outstripped that of the confectionery category as a whole.
In addition to the US market, which accounts for around 80% of sales, Bazooka is present in over 40 countries.
Founded as Topps Chewing Gum, Bazooka got its start by producing a popular chewing gum sold for a penny in New York under the name "Topps Gum". After World War II, the company launched Bazooka Bubble Gum, then expanded its range over the decades by adding several iconic confectionery brands.
